Technical / Installation Notes

Here are important considerations you’ll want to share with installers and clients:

Substrate prep: Must follow standard substrate preparation protocols — surfaces must be clean, sound, free of coatings, laitance, oils etc. Since the product addresses oil &
gas intrusion, any gross contamination should be removed.
Mixing: Two-component kit; mix Part A + Part B per instructions. For the EZ version, 2 gallons A + 1 gallon B (retailer list) for the 3-gal kit.
Application conditions: The EZ version supports high RH and MVER (up to 99% RH; up to 25 lbs MVER) and is suitable for hot climates up to ~110 °F.
Cure times: The FC (fast cure) option is available for faster turnarounds; choose based on project schedule and ambient conditions.
Coverage: Since this is an epoxy primer/ barrier product, coverage will depend on surface porosity and profile. Always refer to the technical data sheet (TDS) for precise spread rates.
Top-coating: In many installations, OMG Blocker serves as a moisture/gas barrier beneath subsequent floor systems (e.g., decorative topping, epoxy floor system). Ensure compatibility of the top coat with this barrier system.
Safety / handling: Use standard PPE for epoxy systems (gloves, goggles, ventilation). Consult SDS for both parts.
